What Services Does Elan Med Spa Provide?
We provide a range of services that include the following:
• BOTOX® and XEOMIN® injections • Permanent makeup • Laser tattoo removal • Vascular laser treatments • Dermal fillers
What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is a procedure in which the skilled professional will place pigment under the epidermis. As can be guessed from the name, it is done on places like the lips where the client would wear conventional makeup. Permanent makeup can be done to mimic lip liner or eyeliner, and it can also make eyebrows appear thicker and fuller.
While some women in North Carolina simply like the convenience of permanent makeup, others get it because they have physical problems that make it hard for them to put on makeup. They might not be able to see well enough, for instance, or they might have unsteady or arthritic hands. As you can imagine, this service offers many benefits to people in these types of situations.
What are Vascular Laser Treatments?
Vascular laser treatments are procedures used to treat small blood vessels near the surface of the skin. We use a Cutera® laser to treat conditions like the following:
• Cherry hemangiomas • Small spider veins • Vascular birthmarks like port wine stains
Vascular laser treatments are outpatient procedures that are performed in the comfort of our office in North Carolina. The treatment typically takes just minutes to complete. The patient can usually resume their normal activities immediately after the treatment.
What is Bellafill®?
Bellafill® is an injectable dermal filler made from polymethyl-methacrylate microspheres. It can be used to treat wrinkles and to fill in pitted acne scars. It is a “semi-permanent” filler, for its effects can last for up to five years! The microspheres in it form a lattice that helps support the collagen and prolong its effects.
